The pump is interchangeable with, but superior to, the 42-989 fuel pump.

FEATURES

• For fuel volume requirements up to about 150 horsepower.
• Can also be combined in series or parallel to achieve any required pressure or flow.
• Low power requirements (about 1 amp at 12 volts), and seals or diaphragms are not required.
• The built-in pressure relief means no flooding after shutting down a hot engine.  
• Compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (up to and including E85), diesel, biodiesel, and fuel additives.
• Fuel can flow in either direction when the pump is turned off.
